The 5-day Rwanda Gorillas and Culture tour is designed to offer our clients a unique cultural and gorilla tracking experience in Rwanda, a top tourism destination. You will get the chance to explore the northern part of Rwanda and trek to see the gorillas while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Virunga ranges. Later, you will return to Kigali for a city tour before visiting the King’s Palace and the National Museum to learn more about the fascinating Rwandan culture.
Upon your arrival, you will be met by a representative from Ajuna Tours and Travel. He/She will then drive you to Volcanoes National Park, which is situated in the northern part of Rwanda. Along the way, you will get to enjoy the stunning countryside with its terraced hills and winding roads. You will arrive at your lodge in time for dinner and overnight stay.
Enjoy a tasty breakfast at the lodge and head out for an exciting morning drive to the Volcanoes National Park Headquarters. Trek in the indigenous forest to find the gorillas, hear live calls of colorful birds and chatter of rare golden monkeys. After lunch, relax at the lodge to unwind from the exciting activity of the day.
After enjoying your recent gorilla trekking experience, you will continue your journey with the Kigali city tour. The tour may include visits to local markets, a drive around the city, and a visit to the Kigali Memorial Genocide Centre to learn about the history of genocides in Rwanda and around the world.
After breakfast, you will visit the Kings' Palace in Butare and learn about Rwandan culture and history. Then, continue to the National Museum before returning to Kigali for an overnight stay.
Depending on your departure schedule, you will be transferred to Kigali Airport for your international flight.
