Start your day with a tasty breakfast at the lodge before embarking on a trek through the indigenous forest in search of gorillas. Listen to the live calls of colorful birds and chattering of rare golden monkeys, and keep an eye out for mountain buffalo and elephant. After lunch, relax at the lodge to unwind from the day's exciting activities.

Upon completion of breakfast, you shall embark on a journey to Lake Kivu for a rejuvenating experience and a canoe ride to the hot springs. Lake Kivu is one of the Eastern African Lakes that provides an ideal environment to unwind after a rigorous gorilla trekking expedition. Your visit to Lake Kivu shall offer you an opportunity to witness a breathtaking sunset and sundowner views while observing local fishermen on their traditional boats.

Head out to Nyungwe Forest National Park following breakfast. The route leading to Nyungwe Forest National Park offers a wonderful sight of Lake Kivu. You will reach the park around lunchtime and spend the rest of the day relaxing. You will have dinner and spend the night at the desired hotel.

Following your breakfast, you will be escorted to the headquarters of Nyungwe Forest National Park, where you will receive a briefing. Afterward, you will be presented with the option to participate in either Chimpanzee trekking or a Canopy walk, based on your personal preference. Upon completion of your chosen activity, you will be warmly welcomed back to the hotel for a delightful dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to visit the National Museum and later dropped off at Kigali airport for your international flight.
