3 days Murchison falls safari

Day 1: Arrival and Pickup from Entebbe Airport
You will be picked by a guide/driver from Ajuna tours and travel from Entebbe international airport who will transfer you to your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe.In case time allows the guide will take for a Kampala city tour, to experience of the exciting attractions Kampala has to offer. Kampala is the capital and largest city of Uganda. Kampala is the location summit of Fort Lugard, and the initial headquarters of the British colonial authorities in the soon-to-be Uganda protectorate. The guide
will brief you about the tour, what to expect, and traveling arrangements for day 2. Dinner and overnight will be at Speke hotel, Hotel Africana in Kampala, or protea hotel in Entebbe.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park – visiting Ziwa Rhino sanctuary
After a very early morning breakfast at your hotel the driver will pick you up at 6am to start the 5-hour journey to Murchison Falls National Park. The journey takes you through interesting Ugandan countryside, small towns, districts and small peasant farms. You will pass the Luwero district where the current Ugandan government launched guerrilla warfare before assuming power under the leadership of Yoweri Museveni. The driver will make stops at preferred points and the main markets for you to grab some sweet fresh fruits.

You will then proceed to the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for an encounter with Uganda’s last remaining rhinos. The Ziwa Rhino sanctuary was opened to protect the few remaining white Rhinos after facing extinction to allow them increase in number such that they could be reintroduced back into the wild. You will be guided by a ranger who will take you to see the rhinos in the facility while sharing information about their conservation and status. The sanctuary is home to other wildlife species including birds, antelopes and small primates.
From the sanctuary, you will head to Masindi town where you will have lunch at kabalega resort, before proceeding Murchison falls national park.
Dinner and overnight at sambiya river lodge or fort Murchison for midrange accommodation the luxury Lodges Chobe safari lodge or Paraa Safari Lodge. The Budget lodges are Red Chilli, the tents at Fort Murchison.

Day 3: Game drive and Afternoon Launch cruise, Hiking to the top of the falls.
