Day 1: Fly in to Kidepo and go for Afternoon game drive

You will be pick up from your hotel in kampala by a driver from Ajuna Tours and Travel who will transfer you to Kajjansi airfield. You will embrace Uganda ‘s gift of nature during this two-hour journey. You will land at Kidepo Valley airfield where you will be picked by the hotel driver who will then be transferred to your lodge where you will freshen up, have lunch, relax/swim and wait for your afternoon game drive. The afternoon game drive will take you to spot lions, hippos, wild dogs, buffaloes, elephants, leopard and several species of antelope. Dinner and overnight will be at Apoka Safari lodge for luxury travelers or Adere safari lodge for midrange or Nga Moru wilderness camp for Budget.

Day 2: Morning game drive to Narus Valley and visit to the Karamojong community

You will have Early morning breakfast at your lodge then be driven for a game drive at the Narus valley. You will have the opportunity to see mammals and birds that you probably didn’t see in the first game drive. Kidepo is a beautiful park and you will be amazed by the landscape and unspoiled wilderness. Take enough photos before returning back to your lodge for lunch and. In the afternoon, you will go to visit the Karamojong people. These are nomadic pastoralists who live in houses called manyatas that are designed to be temporal. Their leaders will explain to you things related to their culture and you will get entertained with their traditional songs and dances. You will dine and overnight will be at Apoka Safari lodge for luxury travelers or Adere safari lodge for midrange or Nga Moru wilderness camp for Budget.

Day 3: Game drive to Kidepo Valley and Hot Springs – visit to the Ik People

You will have breakfast fast thing in the morning as the first day’s activity before heading to the Kidepo valley. The driver will pick you up after your breakfast, this adventure will take you through the Narus valley again on your way to the Kidepo valley to spot more mammals, ostriches and other bird species. You will see the famous Hot springs in Kidepo and get to know how they relate to the local/indigenous communities. You should go see the border between Uganda and South Sudan before returning to your lodge. Dinner and overnight will be at Apoka Safari lodge for luxury travelers or Adere safari lodge for midrange or Nga Moru wilderness camp for Budget.

Day 4: Fly back to Kajjansi Airfield

Wake up to take breakfast, checkout and be transfered to the Kidepo Valley Airfield to catch a flight to Kajjansi airfield in Kampala. You will then connect for your international flight or go to your hotel in Kampala.
